I got my first trunk club shipment today! I took the plunge and trusted the company, and the system in place to actually help me. Help me, with a closet full of college age hippi clothing, skimpy hawaiian swim clothes, and nothing that says clearly, "Hi I'm an adult and a competent business owner". I hit my mid 30s, and cant comfortably wear teenage styles anymore. I wanted to look like a savvy professional with style. I tried Macys suits and separates and felt lost in a sea of polyester suit pants and tops that reminded me of my grandmother somehow. I needed help, and it wasnt hard at all. First I filled out the info on their website, chatted with one of the stylists about my likes and dislikes. I told her I needed business appropriate outfits that I could work in, and I wanted to try wide legs pants in natural fibers. No leopard print or orange clothing LOL. It only took a few hours for her to create my trunk full of outfits after I chatted with her online, and I reviewed it and Xed out a few pieces that weren't me. A week later, the cute trunk shaped box is in my house!
It has two summer dresses, leather ballet flats, three pairs of wide leg pants, three cotton and linen tops, a really nice leather purse, and a kimono shawl top that is gorgeousness. I tore into it, tried on everything, pranced around in my bedroom, and in the end, I'm keeping about half of it. Some of the pieces aren't my style, but I am definitely sold on TrunkClub and definitely recommend them to anyone!! The three outfits I kept will play nicely through the summer months. Its such a relief to just have an outfit sent to me, in its entirety.
